This is a 1950s kids atomic hat / coat stand (known as a Valet)
Really lovely piece, made from wood.
Designed by Suzanne Bonnichon for Jaques
Figurative design, with atomic balls, tapered legs and rail/ hooks for hanging (the previous owner used it to hang her school uniform on when growing up.
Great condition, most parts unscrew for storage and transport. It is missing a couple of wooden shapes on the lower 'rung' and his tassel on the fez/ hoop earrings, but still lovely and none effect his use
