This is a lovely vintage 1970s tablecloth or curtain?

It appears to have been sewn from different fabric, but has a white cotton tube sewn onto the back up each end? could be ironed flat to make a simple tablecloth, or used on a curtain pole or cord for a curtain?

Vibrant design in the centre, with a golden surround (needs an iron- sorry)
